You mean the "Battle in Seattle?"

Anarchists caused the riots at the WTO riots 10 years ago, and they are trying to do the same with OWS protests, my friend.

However, the protestors are speaking out against the anarchist's behavior and will do everything to keep the protests peaceful.

The protestors were surveyed on Oct. 10 & 11 by Douglas Schoen LLC in NYC.

    These are the stats:

    51% are 30 or older.

    71% are employed.

100% are turned off by our political system.

74% have had to cut back spending due to the economy.

    The majority of them vote!

These are NOT radical fringe or spoiled, lazy kids. They are working people from all walks of life and all demographic groups, standing up for many others across the country with the same concerns.

I was at the WTO protests when a bunch of "anarchists" started breaking windows. We surrounded them and they got in a circle with their crowbars. We tried to get the Seattle police who were thirty feet away. The Seattle police would not "break their line" and therefore made everyone there look bad. There were thousands of very awesome individuals there!!! Lets hope we do not have another riot....

I feel this is going to be a big day.

I believe it will be a Seattle WTO sized protest in multiple cities. There are a lot of people (me included) "waiting in the wings" for days like this. I have not been this excited for real change in a long time. I embrace it. And I am, and will be busy promoting it. - This is what I have been promoting so far....

The Corporate Occupation of the United States

Our corporate controlled government (through corporate lobbying and election funding ) is out of the peoples control. People want government control back. Makes sense to me... I feel US corporate capitalism (corporatism) is a type of economic fascism: To have a corporate being where the chain of command eventually muddles all responsibility to any human being. These corporate beings are running your life and controlling your government. (Enough to really make an individual mad and protest.) The corporate being does not exist, and when it comes to face it's corporate responsibility, it is a piece of paper. That is plain and simply wrong. Restore capitalism to individual responsible chains of command, or this struggle will be lost. (This also includes corporate lobbying and corporate election funding, being outlawed; and a new form closer to individual control is established.)

Move To Amend is planning bold action to mark this

notorious date — Occupy the Courts — a one day occupation

on Friday January 20, 2012, of the Federal Courts, including

the Supreme Court of the United States and as many of the

89 U.S. District Court Buildings as we can. Inspired by Dr. Cornell

West, who was arrested on the steps of the Supreme Court last

month, Move to Amend will lead the charge on the judiciary which

created — and continues to expand — corporate personhood rights.

No. So far the occupation has been rather peaceful. The occupiers have left their encampment at Westlake Center and now camp out at SCCC. If there were going to be any riots I think they would have occurred when they were told they could no longer stay at Westlake around the clock.

Plus the weather is getting colder and the media doesn't cover this event like they did in the beginning. Of course the occupiers could riot just to get back into the media spotlight.

(Nor do the current occupiers have any cute turtle costumes).
