What are the BEST brands/types of dry dog food?
My buddy is a little picky. He always likes new food at first but after a few times he may or may not eat it anymore. He didn't like Blue, but I want to give him some type of high quality food. Thanks in advance for any info.

The best dry food for your dog would be a soy, corn, by-product,grain-free diet.
• Canidae:Grain free
• Orjien
• Acana
• Wellness core
• Taste of the wild
• Evo
• Before grain
Personally, I don't like dry or canned food. My BC get's a raw diet.
The reason?
A natural scrubbing and flossing action upon teeth and gums
Clean, strong, white teeth and strong jaws
Healthy, pink gums
A reduction, or even elimination, of 'dog breath'
Improved overall oral health
Increased digestibility of meals
Smaller, more compact, less smelly and completely biodegradable stools
Greater bioavailability of naturally occurring nutrients and enzymes in raw, unground, uncooked meat, organs and bones.
Mental, psychological and physical stimulation that increases vitality, while positively influencing your pet’s overall quality of life
Here are some great websites to get start:

Merrick all the way. They are highly rated on consumer reports. Number seven last time I checked. You also know where the food is coming from. The Merrick family of Texas raise there own fruits, vegetables, and meats. They also put it together in there own factories. So there is no cross contamination from other pet foods. I feed dry because it is cheaper however the wet food is a good treat. There are new studies that show wet food is not all that bad for teeth. Stay away from Science Diet or anything you can buy is a grocery store. You should brush the teeth I don't my dog hates it I use a spray instead. As far as quality look at the top ingredient that is the heaviest weight food in descending order. It should be chicken or another meat. Stay away from by-products they are the part of the animal not fit for human consumption. Like beaks and bones and stuff. Brewers rice is alcohol run off from the factories. Ash content is literally ash. If you go to www.Merrick. com they have a page that tells you of the ingredients they put in and how it is beneficial to your dog or cat.
