Do you think anything odd might be happened on date 11/11/1111?

It is somewhat of a phenomenon that some individuals are seeing these sequence of numbers. 111 and 11:11 and it would seem that there is something to it, but what ? It is no secret that so many individuals from all around the world have had similar experiences and if you were to search even here on Yahoo answers , you would find there are numerous questions asking about what the correlations are . For some time, I just felt that this is more or less a coincidence. I still do for the most part but about a month ago, it got me to re-thinking about it all as I had an experience for myself. Just as I got home one night , I looked at the clock in my Jeep and saw this as curious in that earlier in the day I blew it off as I saw it earlier that morning. At that moment that evening, I thought about what could it mean and I then thought of this month. This Friday 11_11_11 . I seemed to pay attention this time and went in to look into it further. From what I gather, there are a number of theories connected to 11_11 and most of them have to do with change . Some of the more metaphysical explanations are related to consciousness and that the collective of humanity will have a shift in consciousness. Another theory is connected to earth changes and a possible shif in the earths polarity or geographic shift but any and all of these are just theories. I do find it quite interesting though that we , in the United States are going to have a National Emergency Test on Wednesday 11-9-11 and on that same day an asteroid will pass between the moon and the earth on Tuesday. well your not alone- even kids with tons of friends think about this. First, I would tell your parents how alone you feel. I would try to get enrolled in a real school not homeschooling. Second, get a part-time job. Getting out of the house and having a life of your own will really help you out. Third, take your medicine if you need too. Suicide isn't worth it. Think about it this way. Your teenage years are just a small part of your life. Once you go to college and get a job, you can do whatever you want. You'll prob. meet a girl and start a family. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on the kids thing. Seeing your child born is the most wonderful thing in the whole world. Life is really such a gift. If you commit suicide your looking at the little picture, think about the big picture and all these things you'll miss out on. And if your thinking I'll never meet anyone etc.... that's just your depression talking. There is no way of you knowing what your future holds. Look at Bill Gates. He was a nerd through high school and dropped out of college, now he has effected millions of people in a positive way. Really getting out of the house and going and doing something will help you so much. Even joining a gym would help (exercise helps depression).

Nope, numbers are arbitrary. Its like how every year we celebrate because the earth is at a random point in its orbit around the sun.

...On the other hand, at a convenience store if I tried to buy an amount of both coke and pepsi products at the same time, the price would come out as 6.66. While thats unlikely to be anything major, as its just an arbitrary number, its still really amusing.

Oh also, the year 1111 happend 900 years ago.

That date was 900 years ago. If anything special was going to happen it has already happened.

As for 11/11/2011, its hardly as special because of the 20.

Although 11/11/11 might look visually appealing, no, there is not special significance to the date. Just numbers we have applied to them with our Gregorian calendar.

so your saying a bit of lightning and thunder makes you think something might happen on a certain date, how you come to think that is beyond me.

No, they're just a bunch of numbers on the Gregorian calendar, one of many systems humans have come up with to organize days. Any perceived significance to any particular run of numbers on any calendar means nothing in the big picture. Humans are natural pattern seekers - we love to put significance to coincidence.

The 2012 thing relates to the end of the Mayan calender long-count period - ignore the 2012 doomsday hoaxers.

That's a crap load of 1's and my friends bday is on 11/11/2011 lol and I agree with ashley and everyone else its nothin but its possible theory
