How to remove all the Guppies in a day?
I want to put a Betta in my 5g tank, but I have a load of Guppies in there now. The tank is... not heavily, but decently planted. I really need them all out today, but I don't know how to get them ALL. I can hand scoop some out. I'm doubtful that a net would work... And I think they're too busy to go into a trap. Would the tiny babies come out months later? So, what do you reccommend?
Also, I have some Ghost shrimp ( 2 ) in there. Would they get along with the Betta?

Take out all the big ones you can get with a net and then put the betta in there, he will eat the rest.

well, i took out all my plants, and turned off my filter and airstone and hunted them down so i could put them in the breeding trap, but my plants are artificial and i had to take out my 3 adult guppies and 2 ghost shrimp to do it, otherwise they would chase the fry lol! i used a net, it worked for me.
Observe behavior with your betta and ghost shrimp, if they seem to be fighting, seperate them, my guppies nipped at my ghost shrimp at first, but eventually left em' alone. Hope this helps!

Well, every time i have fry, i take them out with a strainer, it is easier, also, empty the tank out like halfway so they have less space to swim away from you.
As for the ghost shrimp, i think they should get along, or the betta might eat them.
