Would you say that without time, nothing would have "meaning"?

Don't you feel that when we always feel sadden by the idea of time and how it will come and take us one day, eventually that the "meaning" behind loved ones, loved things and our actions come into life? If we could live forever wouldn't "meanings" not really exist? Perhaps we find our meaning because we see meaning as the time span in which we have to paint the canvas of our lives? Thoughts?

    Would you say that without time, nothing would have "meaning"?

    ~~~ My definitions are;
    time;
    exists in 'thought' only!
    There can be 'thoughts' not relating to 'time' but 'time' cannot exist without 'thought', as in a Zen (thoughtless) state of awareness...
    'Meaning' is 'thought' (memory, 'feeling' of understanding...in the eye of the beholder)!
    All meaning exists as thought, all thoughts are not of 'meaning'.
    Don't you feel that when we always feel sadden by the idea of time and how it will come and take us one day,
    ~~~ "We"?

    You don't speak for me. Perhaps you feel that you speak for 'similar minded' people?

    Such 'linearity' also only exists only as 'thought'.

    Reality, every moment, is a spontaneous synchronous event!

    Reality is a synchronicity of moments.

    eventually that the "meaning" behind loved ones, loved things and our actions come into life? If we could live forever wouldn't "meanings" not really exist?

    ~~~ Why not? No matter our 'span', we perceive, in this very moment, Now!, that which exists. Like 'thoughts'.
    Everything always exists!
    As long as 'thoughts' exist, 'meaning' exists!
    We perceive 'thoughts', we do not 'create' them!
    Perhaps we find our meaning because we see meaning as the time span in which we have to paint the canvas of our lives? Thoughts?
    Nothing stays still, things are ever changing. The cells in your body replicates only a limited number of times, and your body will eventually expire naturally, some day. What you make of your life and the things you go through while you live is up to you.
    Time is a human construct. We set expectations based on a clock and calendar. In nature, things take care of themselves and each creature has its own schedule and cycle based on its needs.
    It doesn't snow because it is winter. We CALL it winter because it snows. In the mountains of the north, it can snow in what we call August and we feel that something is wrong. Nature doesn't operate on our clock or calendar and those who accept the natural rhythm of things and set no expectations except for themselves, are more in harmony with how things really are in the universe and are far more content.
    Philosophy is man's half-assed way of trying to understand the natural order of things.
    I think what your trying to say is that death/time is what gives meaning to life and yes without it there would be no concept of meaning its pretty damn depressing but death and time is what make life beautiful so live in the moment and get every drop of life before our time ends.
