Which came first........?

Scientifically speaking, the baby.

All babies come from the mating of parents. All genetic mutations and combinations that can result in genetic drift occur at conception. Therefore, whatever mutation or combination responsible for a "baby" occurs, it occurs during conception.

Now somewhere back in evolution there was a time when creatures were not considered "parents", and then the next generation was formed and that generation was a "parent". However, that generation was first a baby. The creature(s) which created that first generation were not perents, genetically speaking. However, the mutation (which occurred during conception) resulted in a creature which would have been a baby.

According to the Judeo-Christian faith The Baby Jesus came from a virgin and an omnipresent being who also created Adam in the form of a grown man and then Eve a grown woman from a rib from Adam who then had two male children called Cain and Able. So the first "baby" according to the King's John Bible was Cain.

Really from my agnostic perspective for 99% of the planet's human population to believe in something similar is the most frightening thing in the world because that means that there are only 1% of us who are not self-deluded, and the religiously deluded includes those with their fingers on nuclear triggers and those who seek to have their fingers in such a place.
