What are the constituent countries of the UK?
Guess you guys don't know. Is that why you haven't answered?
Just thought I'd throw out an easy question. Only one straight answer and he's wrong.
TSK - NI isn't a province of the UK. Ulster however is a province of Ireland.
I think you'll find that you are listed as a 'British SUBJECT' not a citizen.

Yes. Scotland should definitely be given the option to become independent in a referendum. They can definitely afford it. They already have different legal and educational systems from the rest of the UK. There seems little point in allowing London to keep on making their big decisions on reserved matters. They only have 59 parlimentary seats in Westminster, while England has 533. So they will always be overruled, which hardly seems fair. I'm not sure how well Wales and Northern Ireland would cope without England, but like Scotland they should also be given the opportunity to make their own minds up. Maybe when the UK ends they could form a different union. Perhaps they could call it NEW United Kingdom. N for Northern Ireland, E for England, and W for Wales.

England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland
the full name for the UK is The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Great Britain is made up of England, Wales and Scotland
so if you know what Britain is its easy to work out which countries are in the UK

NOT nice that some forget NORTHERN IRELAND !!! Without it only have the ISLAND of GREAT BRITAIN.
England, Scotland and Wales, are countries within the UK. Although NI is sometimes said to be one, IS a PROVINCE of the UK, which is ALSO a country/nation state!
Pose you QUESTION and await answers. DO NOT set out to fail people!(?) If know, DO NOT bother asking?!
Source(s): My passport says "UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND and lists me as "British Citizen". - Anonymous10 years ago

But seeming as you have forgotten, I will remind you, they are England, Wales, Scotland and Norhtern Ireland. If you look at google maps, they are clearly laid out there!

Time to pay attention in geography class, or look at a map.
If you can't manage that then Google is your friend.
