Are the "generic" versions of Bailey's Irish Cream liquor just as good as the REAL Bailey's liquor.?

I actually prefer Carolans or St. Brendan's to Bailey's. Bailey's is considered the premium because it doesn't cause the "skin" on top of coffee like the other brands do. That's because Bailey's uses a powdered dairy base instead of just using actual cream. Bailey's has a longer shelf life once opened because of this, but I don't like the consistency or the flavor of it compared to other dairy cream liqueurs. My favorite is actually Coole Swan, which costs more than Bailey's, but it's amazing and worth every penny.

I tend to buy my liqueurs except for once a year when I make cranberry vodka and cinnamon irish cream to hand out to my family for Christmas, mostly because I end up spending more on making them than just buying good quality ones.

Yes i love the generic versions they are less money and i do love to make my own when i can it also is less money.

c'mon cheapo buy bailey's on sale and don't look like a loser. it tastes a lot better
