How could I get my computer, Windows 7 to accept my Memory Stick on my old Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S30?

I bought a new computer and changed from XP to Windows 7, now I don't understand how to get my photographs on my Cyber-shot memory stick. The new Cyber-shot cameras have a memory card yet my old photographs are on my memory stick and Windows 7 refuses to accept and open up old camera.

You are going to have to use a (cheap and effective) card reader. The DSC-S30 is a dinosaur when it comes to digital cameras, probably requiring specific drivers that are not available for Win7!

*Tip for moving cards from Camera to Computer and back

    1) Before removing your memory card from a camera ALWAYS turn the camera off, waiting until it's fully powered down.

    2) Before removing a memory card from your computer, click on the USB icon in the task bar, select the icon for that device and "safely eject" it, before physically removing it.

    3) When you put your card back into the camera, format the card to remove everything from it, and prepare the card properly for use.
