Flights from Brazil to Colombia?
Hi everybody,
I am going from Brazil to Colombia (Cartagena) end of February (one way). Anybody knows who offers the lowest airfare and how much should I calculate. I know airfares in South America in general are pretty high, but maybe there will be some promotions. What airline(s) would be my best bet?
Thank you very much.

You don't say from where in Brazil, which is as important as the desination. Avianca flies from Sao Paulo via Bogota and can get you Cartagena. Copa does the same but you are going to have to transit Panama City. TACA can get you there through Lima and Bogota. All of the prices I'm seeing are around $600 US but then you'll have to get yourself to Sao Paulo. My suggestion would be to go visit a travel agent (Agencia de Viagems) like CVC and they'll be able to price it out for you. One-way is much more expensive than round-trip so book the round-trip with a return of 3 or 4 months later and you may be able to garner a credit for the unused portion of your trip.
