What is the best bike to get under 150?

The only thing you'll get for £150 or less will be something from Halfords, Argos, Tesco & the like. The U.S. version of Walmart. Poor quality, undependable & badly assembled. Not to mention they come in one frame size only.

The best bicycles come from your local bicycle shop, not a discount store. These bikes are put together by pros. They use much better components & are available in many frame sizes to fit people of all heights.

You might luck out & find a good used bicycle for that price. Know what you're looking for or take a friend along that knows bicycles.

Keep $aving. All you'll get for that price is a discount store special of low quality. If you're looking for speed, that would be a road bike. And they cost a lot more than 150 pounds. I'm assuming pounds because Yahoo shows this question coming from the U.K.

The least expensive and yet durable road bike I can think of would be the Raleigh AIRLITE 100 priced at £500.00.
