Tax information HELP please!?

I recently worked at V.I.M. from august to november, and filled out a W-2 form when I started. My main questions are, will I get my money from that job when I file my tax? Do I have to go back and ask for anything? And if so, what do I ask for?

You filled out and turned in a W-4 form which was used to determine your correct withholding and etc. Before January 31st you will receive a form W-2 which gives you the years total for wages and withholding. You might contact the employer and make sure your address is correct; and find out if you can go online and download your W-2; or, is it mailed to you.

You filled out a W-4 form. Make sure they have your current address and they'll mail you a W-2 form in January.

You won't get back the amounts deducted for social security or medicare. Depending on how much you made, you might or might not get some or all of the money withheld for federal income tax Depending on how much you made and where you live, you might get some or all of your state tax back.

    1) You filled out a W4, NOT a W2.

    2) "will I get my money from that job when I file my tax".....are you saying that this job NEVER paid you??? If so, filing taxes will NOT pay you your wages owed.

    3) You should get back your federal and state income taxes paid, but not Social Security/Medicare.

    4) If you receive your W2 by the end of January...there is nothing to go back for.

your employer will send you a W-2 if you do not receive one by Feb. 1, call them, they may not have your correct address

and you will then use the information to complete your tax return

if you are due any refund it will be sent to you from IRS and/or the state
