How bad are McDonalds Double Cheeseburgers for me?

I eat roughly 6 or 7 some weeks, how bad could that be for my health, i am not worried about putting on weight at all (which i haven't) becuase i am very active and wouldnt mind putting on some weight, they are a good source of protein (i lift weights occasionaly) apart from that my diet is normal enough.

As long as you're eating a healthy diet the rest of the time (a good amount of green veggies and low levels of carbohydrates and sugars) 6 or 7 burgers a week isn't anything to worry about. In fact there's a film called Fat-Head, in which the film maker eats nothing but fast food for one month, and because he avoided the carbs and sugar he actually drops his cholesterol levels improves his blood pressure and losses 12 pounds. The sodium levels are not a problem; no medical study has ever shown that a high salt diet causes heart disease. It will indeed aggravate the condition if you already have it, but it wont cause it. The saturated animal fats are actually good for your body, the trans-fats which you will find in the fries are bad. So as long you're having those burgers without fries and a sugary drink you're fine. Check out that movie to learn a whole lot more about nutrition and how the body works.

McDonald Double Cheeseburgers are not too bad for you. I actually only eat them like once a month or maybe sometimes once every two months or MAYBE EVEN LONGER! You shouldn't even eat them that much. Its not good for your body. It has 23 grams of fat, 440 calories in one burger, and 7 grams of sugar. The only good thing is that is has 25 grams of protein. So its good that your are working out because if you don't be active, you might be twice your weight by now.

These burgers have 459 calories which is fine for your lunch, but one burger has more than 1/2 of the daily recommended saturated fat, 83mg of cholestrol (which is a lot), and 1137 mg of sodium which is almost 1/2 of the daily recommended amount. And they also contains Trans Fat which is very unhealthy. I would say it's unhealthy to have that many in one week.

6 or 7!? wow! i eat them like once a month!

well at least your'e in good shape and not putting any weight on means you must have a high metabolism.

i would just advise you cut it down a bit or at least eat other meals that balance it out in your diet because those things wreak havoc on your arteries :)

Source(s): i work there and one of my colleagues eats less than that and gained 5 pounds in 3 months.

Fast food is bad period. As long as you eat in moderation (once in a while), it's alright.
