After update to iOS 5.0.1, Major problems?
First of all, the iPad is NOT, I repeat NOT jailbroken.
So, after updating my iPad 1 to iOS 5.0.1 from iOS 4.3, I am having MAJOR problems with it. Restoring the backup of email, settings, etc. was fine. But the appstore and iTunes crash a few seconds after launch and. When I try to install apps from my iMac via itunes nothing happens. The apps don't show up on my iPad.
I've tried restoring multiple times! This still happens! I even tried restoring to an iosw I downloaded from other sources than iTunes! Same result!
What is wrong and how do I fix it!

Hmm... The only thing I can suggest here is to re-download iTunes (or update to the newest version if you haven't done so already).
However, iOS 5.0.1 IS having problems with backups. My brand new iTouch 4G isn't able to make a backup for some reason (also on iOS 5.0.1), yet this hasn't happened to my older iTouch 3G still on the iOS 4.2.
I think we just have to wait for the next update. But again, try re-downloading iTunes, hopefully that is the only problem.

Clicked forget approximately this community 3. became instant off 4. Set the telephone in plane mode 5. Switched off and then became it on ( did no longer see the slide bar that used to look on a similar time as turning telephone off yet besides ) 6. challenge solved
