Am I the only one who needs to work on brushing my teeth better when I have braces?
My orthodontist said I need to brush better. When she was looking at my teeth she even said "Ew".

No you're not the only one. Lots of people have problems keeping their teeth clean with braces.
Tip.
Brush after every meal. Like, you don't even have to use toothpaste. Just run a brush across your teeth to get the food out. Too busy for that? Buy a WISP kit. It's like a toothbrush that doesn't need rinsing. You just use it and then throw it away.

No, definately not! I have braces, and I know loads of people with braces. Everyone gets told that. But at the same time I felt sorry for the orthodontist having to work around my lunch!

Nahh, I have braces and it's pretty hard to brush my teeth.
Before, a dentist was cleaning my teeth, and she made a big deal about my "oral hygiene" because she found a piece of meat stuck in my wire in the back. I even told her that I had to come here STRAIGHT after school, meaning that I had no time to brush my teeth and that my lunch was still in my mouth. That dentist honestly acted like a 4 year old about it. I came there to get my teeth cleaned, not to get her prissy little opinions about my "hygiene".
If I were you, I'd tell your orthodontist to keep her opinions to herself, because their job is to fix our teeth, not spew out their personal opinions about everything.

I was constantly flossing and brushing and rinsing with mouthwash when I had braces. Superfloss (by oral b I think) is excellent as it has a thicker part specifically for braces. A waterpik will make a huge difference too.

I think they all say that because mine said that to me, and when I looked across the room, the orthodontist also said it to another kid xD
