Hair Dying Question? Plz help?

Right now my hair is a dark brown color and i want to dye some of it turquoise or blue im not sure yet. Would i have to bleach my hair blonde so i can dye it blue or can i just leave it. Ive heard that if you dont have blonde hair and u dye it a crazy color like blue it turns a nasty green is that true? 2nd question any good hair dying brands that are crazy colors not neutrals? Thanks :)

Yes it is true that your hair can turn a bit green, but not too green. This girl who came to school one day said it was supposed to look blue, but it turned a bit green. I wouldn't personally dye parts of my hair blue, but I would rather dye it two shades lighter than my normal hair. I think this would be a good suggestion for you. Also, if you have colored eyes, or just plain brown eyes, you can bring out the color of your eyes.

You would have to bleach it. It won't do much to your dark brown hair. It may just tint it. Your hair will turn green as the blue fades, but I like the color, but if you don't, just re-dye it. I don't know a good brand, but I know Manic Panic is pretty bad.

    Good luck! (:

Well if you want to dye some of your hair blue then yes you may have to bleach your hair. Not the thing, just the part you want to dye. And no you don't have to dye your hair Blondel to be able to dye it blue.
