1 month old Siberian Husky pup misses its mommy?
So my sister went on youtube and let our 1 month old husky pup watch a video of a grown husky howling. He then started to look around the house for something, which I assumed was his mother (maybe he thought the husky howling was his mother?). When he couldn't find what he was looking for, he started howling softly to the video...it made me kinda sad :'(. We adopted him recently, although he was the only dog of the former owners, which makes me feel better that we didn't directly take him away from his mama.
So, does this mean he was finding his mom?
Thanks.
Um...he's 7 weeks. I probably did the math wrong *facepalm*.
But still, he's too young :(.

Puppies are suppossed to be taken away from their mother after 45 days of birth!! your puppy is crying out for his/her mom! you should take the role now and be very charming and give a lot of attention so she/he doesn't feel bad! I still remember when my dog would cry all night long for her mom :( so i adopted the mom's role and i slept with her since then :) she is 7 years old now and very happy cuz she is treated like a baby!!

How is it that a 1 month old pup is not with it's mother? No pup should leave their mum until 8wks old so 2 months at the very least.

No, Siberian Huskies howl, they do not bark.
And, I think puppies have to be ay least 6 weeks before bring sold.

He should be they not be taken away until at last 8 to 10 weeks minimum . A month old these dogs are still feeding on their mothers milk and have absolutely NO Business away from their mother . Are you NUTS .

One thing you should NOT do is buy a puppy from a pet store. The sort of breeder who will sell their puppies to a 3rd party without having a clue as to where it will end up is NOT a caring breeder and will not have had any health tests done or worry overmuch about the authenticity of papers! (looks a lovely puppy but far too fluffy for a pure bred Sibe)

I've heard Sometimes a hot water bottle and a ticking clock helps him sleep and stop howling until he gets you.

you need to be its mother then, unless you can get this puppy back to his mother, 8 weeks is when you can give pups away. thats a bit early so he will prbably need some extra comforting and milk.

If your the owner, your the new mom.
It takes a few months for the dog to get used to you.
