Should i get the ps vita or the ipad 2?

The question is if you think and iPad 2 is necessary, not if I do. The iPad 2 is a completely different item from a PS Vita, it's a little like asking me if you should buy yourself a washing machine or a lawnmower. If you need a tablet computer then the iPad is one of those, if you mostly want to play 3D games then forget about the iPad and buy the PS Vita instead.

Well as the OP stated, those are 2 different device, One being a Gaming Portable Device while the other is a Portable Computer Device .

Then IPAD is good for small application you might need in the real word, Such in your office to use as a table writting notes , Reading a few article etc . For gaming is okay as there is no powerful games but only small mini games which are pretty decent .

Now for the PS Vita , This is a Portable Gaming device , This is meant to be strictly for gaming on the go . If you travel a lot then a PS Vita is the best one to get as you will have a few things not available on the IPAD such as some of the best game ever created for Gaming Console .

For example , IPAD has Call of duty Zombie available, While the PS Vita has the Full Call of duty game available .

If you have played Call of duty or battlefield before on computer and or Home Gaming device, Then you will see the big difference on a IPAD version of this game, While the PS Vita will still have all the game graphics and features available . Remember that the IPAD depends on certain on screen button in order for the game to do certain things .

Like I said, This all comes down to what you will need and use the gaming device for .

These are two different devices, but each has their own benefits.

I have read that the Ps vita has a faster processor and better graphic capabilities than the Ipad 2. Both are touch screen, and the PS vita allows you to experience augmented reality which is a new technology that uses cameras to interact with the real world. Eventually the Ps Vita will have a lot of apps. It's your choice, but there are more benefits for the Ps Vita over the Ipad 2, one being the price, and size, and better power. It's up to you though :)

iPad 3 is coming out soon just to let you know and in my opinion, the necessity of each of those products is pretty much your own personal decision. No one can really give a very good answer to this except tell you which product they would rather buy. I'm going to get a vita and probably a MacBook later this year, I also have a 32 gig iPhone 4 and do not feel the necessity for an iPad at all.

you should get the iPad 2 because the for the ps vita's touch screen might have problems so the reason why you should get an iPad 2 is because it has A5 chip which is super fast, IOS 5 the most powerful IOS and very fast performance faster, and a 10 hour gaming for apps like call of duty zombies, so you should get the iPad 2

ps vita. if you already have a computer and an ipod, the ipad offers you nothing more. everything it does can be done on a computer + ipod.

Plus, the ipod and ipad games are usually very simple, the ps vita will have much better games.

If u are more of an apple fan get the ipad 2 if you are more of a playstation/sony fan get the vita...
