I have a burning feeling in my left breast,also hardness,swelling and tenderness. I am 54 years old.?

I doubt it has anything to do with menopause. It could be infected glands. I doubt cancer because it usually isn't painful in the beginning.

Make appointment with your doc asap, Try warm moist clothes to area to see if that helps. If not try cold packs On for no longer then 20 min every 2 hrs or so.

PS Menopause does cause some crazy symptoms. (just thinking)

It could be menopause...but have you had an exam for testing for breast cancer yet? Take one now even if you have in the past, just to be safe.

I had something similar, Im 23, it turned out to be a glandular infection that went away, I had to have a mammogram though.
