Why do I cry every time I get in an argument with mom or dad?

I'm a guy by the way and this is a problem I've had as long as I can remember, it doesn't matter the type of argument, big or small, if we disagree on a problem or they yell at me for something and I yell back and my eyes start to burn with tears as i try to defend myself, and as soon as I start crying, I can't talk so I just walk away. It ONLY happens with my mom and dad sometimes and it happens EVERYTIME. I can have a million arguments with my friends, my brother, my teachers, anyone, and I won't cry or show the least bit of emotion. The second I start to raise my voice at my mom, i can feel the tears coming, and I try to hold them back or look away, but she knows that it's because I'm crying. I absolutely hate it. Me and my mom get along half the time but the other half we don't and it's frustrating that I let her think she gets to me whenever I cry during an argument. I respect her and everything she has done for me and my brothers but I sometimes I just want to scream at her. Can someone PLEASE give me some advice on how to stop crying?

I don't think I can tell you how to stop crying all of a sudden sorry but the reason you cry is because you have such a strong attachment to your parents. Moms and Dads can make a teenager or just about anybody cry the hardest. I never cry either unless it is thank to my parents and me getting in an argument. It took me an entire year to get over crying everyday because of something they said but now I've gotten better. There are times when something they say really really hurts me but I can;t cry until I have a catalyst like a sad song to help me get the emotions out. The best way to stop crying really is to become a stronger person. This will come with growth and time. It is a really difficult process but I think a lot more emotionally stronger and a better person after I started to learn to allow myself to have respect for my views over others opinions. You are who you want to be and no one can change that. Just have a greater self-respect and learn to slowly stand on your own two feet. It'll be ok so don't worry. Do your best :)

can't really tell you how to stop crying but the reason you are crying is because of your emotional attachment to your parents. before you start to get so angry and emotional take a deep breath and try to communicate in a softer tone or maybe speak to them when your not as upset.

Thier is no way to stop crying. Your sensitive emotionally, so you cry when you argue, like me.
