Have any of you read the classic book called Rebecca? ?

I want to know your opinions of the book, and your comments. Thank you.

I meant the book Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier

    Funny you should ask. I just saw the movie, a real old one. I think this is a fantastic book. I love the opening line. I first read it when I was in high school and I still love it many many years later.

    Did you know Du Maurier also wrote a novelette called "The Birds"? That is where Hitchcock got his inspiration for his movie by the same name.

    Its a lovely novel, well worth the read. I like Daphne du Maurier's novels, all of them.

    that book haunted my entire 11th grade experience. if i never hear du Maurier's name again it'll be too soon. even typing this out is giving me pains.

    Rebecca is a ridiculous novel. Gothic romance at its most insane.
