Help to get my math grade up!?

My math grade is a 50% and it just keeps getting lower. I try really hard to always do my best in math. I started with a 95% any suggestions?

If you are not doing well in math, then you are not studying, paying attention in class or doing your homework or any combination of the aforementioned. Do not blame it on your teacher. If your teacher is bad, you would have consulted your parents, your principle, either or both and the teacher problem would have been addressed and remedied.

About the only way to excel in math is repetition. Do the example problems in the book and in class over and over, then find or make up more problems and do them. After awhile, you will be doing problems in your sleep and your grades will follow a positive slope.

Yahoo Answers is a very good place to learn math...right here. Look up questions involving your area of concern, read each answer, then study them step by step until you understand.

Do you have an zeros/anything you haven't turned in? If so, that might be hurting your grade D:

If you don't, and you are trying really hard in math, I'd ask your teacher for help! Maybe they could tell you what you can do to raise it.

    Maybe even get a tutor.

As you progress in math, you have to apply fundamentals on a second nature basis, you're probably not understanding one or two of them that are making you hit a brick wall.

Talk to your teacher. Maybe there's some concepts you don't understand, or a particular type of problem that you are having difficulty with. S/he may also have some tips for better study habits.
