Yahoo! Account Reactivation.....?
Okay, so this account is my main Yahoo! Mail account etc...but I was going through some documents that had my other email address on it (an account I forgot about)....
So I tried to sign in with this "forgotten" account and up came a screen saying to type in the code to re activated this account. So I did and they said that within 24 yours "the forgotten" account will be re activated...that seems fine.
But I find it somewhat weird...why would I need to re activate it?? I didn't delete the account. I haven't used it in months yah but still why would I need to do this??? Any help appreciated....thanks

The answer lies in your question ... you hadn't used it in months. Yahoo aren't in the business of housing dormant accounts, they want live accounts.

After 6 months of inactivity Yahoo deletes
accounts.
I find it strange that they would reactivate
after such a time
If you are asked for personal details then
just delete it.
Good luck.
