I did. You seem to have gotten a nice camera for christmas. Now, you can continue to have fun with the snapshots or you can actually learn about photography. The choice is yours.

they are all broing snapshots of a teenagers life...but don't worry- I did the exact same thing. Everyone has to start somewhere. Start researching about the manual functions on your camera and about photo composition(<---very important) also, think about lighting. Most of your photos were dark or noisy(lots of grain)

they aren't particularly good, but they are something you can look back on and show your improvement - IF you want to improve...

learn the basics of photography... light, angle, composition, etc...

learn the abilities and restrictions of your camera...

learn to make horizons horizontal... and verticals vertical...

never trust family and friends when they say they are fantastic - they'll lie to you...

read books, magazines, websites about photography and try to find better ways to photograph something...
