Ipod touch jailbreak help?
I currently am running a tethered jailbreak in my ipod touch 4G with 4.3.4 firmware. Is it possible to get an untethered jailbreak without losing everything on my ipod?

If you update to the latest 5.0.1 firmware there is a brand new untethered JB. Since you dont want to lose anything, backup with itunes first BEFORE updating. I think the newest version of itunes backs up automatically but do it just in case to be safe :). Then go to jailbreaknation.com and find the downloads page. Then get the newest version of redsn0w for either mac or pc. After your ipod is finished updating run redsnow and jailbreak it into an untethered state :) i did the same exact thing yesterday but i was on 4.3.5 tethered. Same thing though :) but you should hurry before 5.0.2 is released by apple ;P
EDIT: Note that the method coming from the guy above me won't work in your case. You would need to already be on 5.0.1 tethered, but you are on 4.3.4 tethered

Search for this in cydia: Corona 5.0.1 tether
Install it and....BOOM!!!! It's untethered.
