Here’s a factual description of the Scientology religion for you:

    Definition:

The term Scientology is taken from the Latin word "SCIO" : which means, in the fullest sense of the word, "knowing", and the Greek word "LOGOS" which simply means "study of". Literal meaning “knowing how to know”.

The subject of Scientology is further defined as :

"the study and handling of the spirit in relationship to itself, universes and other life. "

Scientology is a new religion. Less than 60 years old.It is an applied religious philosophy. By “applied” is meant that it is for use in life and living to improve the conditions of existence.

Scientology is not belief or faith based. In Scientology a truth is only true if it’s true for you, according to your own observation and experience .

It does acknowledge the principle of God or the Infinite but does not try to define or describe this principle, leaving it up to the individual.

It is also not a messianic religion. This means there is no worship of prophets or messiahs or gods.

The most basic principle of Scientology is that YOU are your own immortal soul, that this is not a thing you have but what YOU actually are.

Scientology believes or considers that Man is basically good. This is different from many religions that promote that he his natively evil or bad unless “made” good.

Scientology’s closest spiritual ties with any other religion are with Orthodox (Hinayana ) Buddhism with which it shares an historical lineage. But even here the relationship is based mainly on friendship and the recognition of the being as a spirit rather than any organizational ties.

L.Ron Hubbard explained fully the theology and technologies of Scientology in more than 500,000 pages of writings, including dozens of books and over 4,000 tape recorded public lectures.

You can also go to www.scientology.org for a much more detailed description of this religion.

Or go to your local library Self Help section for books on Scientology

The two "cans" in the photo are joined together by a plastic insulator insert, allowing both to be held in one hand for solo auditing. This type of auditing is practiced only on the most advanced (and most expensive) Scientology levels, namely, OT III and Solo NOTs (New Era Dianetics for Operating Thetans.)

The remote tone arm attachment, sitting to the left of the meter, is used in solo auditing. The person holds the cans in one hand and uses their other hand both to take notes and to work the large knurled knob on the left side of the remote. The knob is geared to the dial on the front of the remote, so moving one also moves the other. Alternatively, the person could move the front dial with their pen.

What is metered auditing really like? Robert Kaufman spills the beans in his book Inside Scientology/Dianetics, which the Scientology organization tried to suppress.

For $cientology please follow the following recipe..

    You take the following ingredients:

    Hogwash

    BS

    Lies

    Brainwashing

Desire to makes loads of $$$$$$$$

    2nd rate science fiction stories

    Asbestos

Mix in a bowl until a dough like consistancy is achieved. Then add in the following ingredients:

    Disconnection

    Slave like labour

    harrassment

    lawsuits

    manipulation

    self help books

    self help courses

    sailing

When all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed bake in an oven (or a volcano if you have one) at 800 degrees centigrade for about 60 years. Unfortunately the finished goods will taste very much like horse manure so it is best served covered up under a giant lidded silver platter by a midget waiter dressed in the finest italian suits money can buy.

You may not get the joke so all I can say is listen to the former members speak and here are a few clips for you to watch...

David Miscavige (the current leader of scientology) tells of the death of ron hubbard (the founder)

watch this guys expression at around 2 minutes 50 seconds and see the lies flow from his mouth as he wonders if the crowd are dumb enough to believe the rubbish he is talking.

Here are some $cientology training routines for you to look at demonstrated by two former scientologists so you can see a part of what they actually do. This is very expensive and charged by the hour.

Here is ron hubbard himself speaking of the aliens that scientology is so keen and quick to deny...

It is not the general scientologists who critics are against, their only crime is allowing scientology to take them for fools, but the management, the people who work for them - lawyers, security guards, PI's and their black Ops guys, the OSA (the Guardians Office rebranded). Watch this video if you want to know about their black ops -

It's the belief that all humans are infected with the souls of aliens who were blown up in a volcano with hydrogen bombs by an evil galactic overlord.

Source(s): I'm not even joking. This is literally what they believe.

From what I remember, it was a way to become "clear". The theory is if you make yourself lose all negativity, you can attain immortality.

Of course, not one person has achieved that level of performance, including L. Ron Hubbard who was the founder of the religion.

A batsh/t crazy and admittedly made-up "religion." Don't even bother with it, as it's just as much crap-trap as are all religions, except with an extra helping of crazy.

A cult. Pure and simple cult. Everything bad, nothing good about them. Don't get involved.
