is arabic diffrent than egyptian arabic?
if so how diffrent, if i went to egypt and spoke arabic could they understand me? thanks so much!

the colloquial egyptian has a lot of words different from the classical arabic. same in north africa and in the middle east.
Variations are inevitable but classical arabic is understood anywhere in the arab world if you are stuck.
