Is there a way to get a very scary guy out of our neighborhood?

He was kicked out by his parents when he turned 18. He was living with some neighbors across the street but was kicked out when he hit one of the sons girlfriends and also put a hole in their wall. He's been living in his parents next-door neighbor's suburban for the past few months (with their permission) he then was dating their 13 year old daughter, he is about 19 now. He always walks around very creepily at night and most of the neighborhood children and parents are afraid of them. (he once hit a man from our church when he was angry and he could easily take down a medium size man or woman) Well, last night he was arrested after he was caught in a 14 year old neighbor girls window well watching her. However, the police say that he will probably be released today because the charges against him are mainly misdemeanors. Is there any way that we can protect ourselves legal wise? Is there anyway to get him out of our neighborhood? What steps can be taken to do something about it?

You'd have to see a lawyer to get it right, he sounds very scary and troubled.

Too bad his parents can't be arrested for raising such a person. This boy/man probably has some fundamental issues that are not being addressed and the outcome cannot be good. Just try to document everything, learn his habits, and keep a close eye on him. Maybe a neighborhood watch program might be effective. Put up motion trip lights if you need to and maybe even buy a stun gun.

Legally there is not much you can do.

IF the guy he hit was willing to press charges that might do something.

we had a guy like that in my Dad's apartment building a few years ago, a few of us guys took care of him the Old Fashion Way (understand?)

it's wasn't fun or pretty, but it got the job done and no real or serious harm came to anyone

Talk to one of the police officers that is familiar with him and see what can be done. You might be able to get a restraining order and I'm not sure but were I'm from it is illegal to live in a vehicle.

    Good luck!
