The most common cause for a blocked Eustachian tube is the common cold. Sinus infections and nasal allergies are also causes. A stuffy nose leads to stuffy ears because the swollen membranes block the opening of the Eustachian tube...u can try yawning and swallowing..if they ar not work, try ths one- pinch the nostrils shut, take a mouthful of air, and direct the air into the back of the nose as if trying to blow the nose gently. The ears have been successfully unblocked when a pop is heard. This may have to be repeated several times during descent...good luck

I try this all the time. it would desire to be an ear wax plug in which you need some drops of ear wax softener in each ear at night. additionally, in case you sleep and your jaw presses against your ear a definite way, that would reason this. I even have TMJ and it occurs in many circumstances. you may are transforming into water on your ear whilst showering or washing your hair. then you definately could desire the drops for swimmers ear. i would not be too worried.

Hmm, have you gone swimming? Might be swimmers ear (almost like an aching in your ear, or you can't hear out of it) if so, but if no swimming, then maybe your cold is still around, I suggest you go to your doctor and see what he has to say if nothing above is correct.
