Feedback on CBYX Germany Exchange?

I'm applying this year as well. It'll be my first year and I'm sure it won't be easy. Only 250 out of the whole U.S. are going to depart. So 50 applicants out of each designated area (North-east, South-east, etc.) will be selected as finalists. I'm hoping my application will at least be active because I'm not sure if my teachers have sent their reccomendations yet. I'm actually thinking of asking all 5 of my teachers to send a recommendation (just to make sure they get there). I worked really hard on piecing my application. (Chasing down people to get certain things signed or papers I needed). If my application isn't complete, I still had fun working on it. In the long run, just filling it out was a good experience because I believe it'll be much easier for me later on in years if I'm not accepted this year. (I sent my application but it's still not active until the recommendations are recieved)
