How to give mexican flavor to beef roast?

I'm going to cook a beef roast in the crock pot and serve as meat for homemade fajitas. What spices can I add to give it a little 'kick' in flavor? Thanks - really need answer by Friday afternoon! :)

P.S. Please share side items you would add to the buffet for guests to assemble their fajita.

Cayenne pepper and cumin are definite Mexican flavor boosters! Garlic, onions, and cilantro give it good flavor too.(To make things easy just add a packet of taco seasoning.) Sour cream, corn, bell peppers, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, and tapatio sauce will go along perfectly.

  • You can add some garlic onion or tomato bullion cubes. For the sides some rice charro beans shredded lettuce and tomatoes. Topping can be some pickled jalapenos or radishes, CheesE,cremA, pico de gallo ,

Put any kind of hot peppers in the pot when cooking it. Tomatoes would add the liquid you need...

Use Chili peppers, they always add a nice spice to it.

Sour Cream, diced jalapenos, cheese (grated), guacamole, refried beans.

Use cumin or smoked paprika as a dry rub on the surface.
