lewis and clark!!!! please help?
i have to finish my project but i forgot all my books and notes at home pleasee help.
give background information on who A.)Lewis and Clark were before the Expedition and B.) what there roles were during the Expedition. (Examples for this:where were they born, what they did prior to the expedition, how did Lewis and Clark meet?)

Kelsey...you need to understand google (search engine). Lewis and Clark are a big deal. If you goggle each one, you will find their history, birth date, etc. These were military men. During Pres. Jefferson's presidency, they were sent on a "MISSION OF DISCOVERY" and they succeeded, without losing a man (or woman---this is important). Jefferson had just bought about 1/3 of the United States with the Lousianna purchase from france. Jefferson sent these to trusted people to see what was up. It is interesting that Spain wasn't thrilled about this adventure and sent military to intercept. Native Americans assisted or resisted. First time for lots of things. But, to set the stage, Lewis was a real friend of Jeffersons. Imagine them getting down on the floor of the white house with all of the stuff that Lewis and Clark brought back? So, google these guys for bio and answer your questions. What a great time to be alive!

The Louisiana Territory that became offered from France in 1803 became plenty extra suitable than immediately's State of Louisiana. actually, the Louisiana purchase introduced in some million/3 of the full land area of the continental usa.
