What's the name of this music artist?
They go by something that sounds like "Golding" and the artist is female. I'm not sure what to call the genre since I just heard a song once and have no lyrics to go by (and I'm poor at categorizing things). But I'd hazard a guess and say that it's pop.
Any help is appreciated. :D

I think you're talking about Ellie Goulding. She's pretty popular right now. If you heard a song by her, it was probably one of these two:

Do you mean ellie goulding? She sings some well known songs such as starry eyed and did a cover of elton johns your song? Hope this has helped :)
