I want to learn to play guitar but?

I'm now 19 years old. I tried back when I was like 13 but didn't really have the patience. Would it be easy to self teach myself? I really am longing to play guitar and I love to write lyrics. Thanks.

    It's up to you, learning the guitar is no big deal: start to learn if you want to, don't if you don't want to, stop if you get sick of it.

    well, get a guitar, and if you can't find a local tutors/volunteers/guitarist friends, go on youtube and learn :D

    I think you should go for it. You clearly have the focus and this could be a great creative outlet
