Domestic Abuse Advice?
Two people close to me have been involved in cases of domestic abuse recently and i'm becoming concerned for the safety of both individuals. Violence erupted the other night that left the victim bruised and very frantic in her actions and there was no excuse for the males act.
I've also seen violence from the other partner towards the other (female towards male) and that's not safe of healthy either. I am worried that sooner rather then later someone is going to get seriously hurt in this and neither are taking actions to quell this or seek outside help.
Is it possible to get the police involved in this or any other outside departments to help?

domestic abuse starts out as emotionally abuse, things like stopping the other parenter doing cetain things, getting jelous when they look at other people or see their friends or family. it then turns physical, it starts with a few punches, and mabye a kick, and goes on to broken ribs, broken backs or even being strangled or knived. 1 in ever 10 people in londan die from domesic vioelcne ever year and its most of the police call outs, espically this time of year. get them both some help. there are the police that can be called and several helplines - 0808 2000 247 is the number to the national help line - http://www.nationaldomesticviolencehelpline.org.uk... - are you a freind of teh one being abused, can they move in with you for a while, get help for them.
even if they are unwilling to report it - or press charges - the state will pick up charges against them, once the police have been informed they can't get out of it .

You can report it, and there will be a minor follow-up investigation. However, if neither is willing to push charges or admit that something is happening, it will pretty much end right there.
You could also contact a battered women's shelter for advice. They specialize in handling these types of situations and may provide advice on how to get your friend to seek help.

Call the cops when they are fighting, so they can get caught in the act. It wouldn't make sense to call the cops few days later. None of them would be willing to talk to the cops after they've forgotten what happened.

Talk to the police. Domestic abuse always escalates. Don't wait until it's too late.

Yes CALL THE POLICE or therapy or go to somewhere to give you better advice because God forbid, somebody could get hurt bad or killed or suicide. IT HAPPENS, TRUST ME!!!!
