Why doesnt our media show how many times gunownership has prevented a crime or bodily harm?

Gun owners have to be careful. Depending on the state/city.... The liberals could put him in jail for defending his property. My state has the Castle law which protects gun owners from over zealous liberal prosecutors. Cities are more often then not dominated by the democrats, the state as a whole can garner enough Con votes to control things at a state level.

The statistic NOBODY CAN EVER SHOW is: all the crimes that were never even ATTEMPTED because the potential victim was armed.

How many people DIDN'T break into a farmhouse because they knew the occupant has a gun in the house?

Nobody can ever know the answer.

I believe the number of crimes deterred is far more than the number of crimes that were thwarted in the act.

But nobody can ever prove that either way, can they.

All these "statistics" are biased, because they can never count what the crime rate WOULD HAVE BEEN if homeowners didn't own guns.

The two things an intruder fear most are an armed occupant, or a really big dog.

They fear the dog more, because a human might show some restraint in using force. The dog will just go totally berserk and the intruder will be ripped to bloody shreds.

There is no way to measure how much crime is curtailed by gun ownership. But it does herd the criminals into gun free zones.My daughter was asked by a salesperson if she would like to buy an alarm system. She said she did not need one because she lives in a neighborhood where every one owned a gun.That is why our founding fathers gave us the right to bear arms. They were wiser than all the liberals put together who want to stop the constitution from giving us the freedoms endowed by our creator.

Asking the media to show both sides of an issue isn't going to happen. Hence the lamestream media moniker.

Because they know that when they attempt the final push for government takeover of what is left of our freedoms those of us who refuse to give up our right to keep and bear arms will not allow it to happen.

One shotgun blast to the first person who broke into a store would scatter the douches.

It does not inflame the masses against gun ownership so does not please their left wing masters.
