I paid my employees the gross amount instead of net amount, how do I fix it?

Do i gross it up or pay them less or charge them or what ? How do I fill out the 941 ?

    Gross it up based on the old gross being the net. Have fun working backwards.

    How I would fix it.

    Send an email stating - MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone

    You received a small yearly bonus I forgot to inform you about.

    Problem solved.

    If you want to make everyone in the company angry, send out a memo informing everyone that you made a mistake and the amount will be taken out of their next paycheck.

    Maybe you should get yourself an accountant rather than rely on Yahoo Answers to run your business.
