My 7th grader messes up on Math tests?

My child is very good at math but when she goes into a test situation she seems to be getting several answers incorrect.

She has been a straight A student to this point but suddenly she is having this problem in Math tests.

She says she doesn't feel anxious, nervous etc she doesn't have a eye for boys (yet) and she studies hard at home and at school. We cant work out why this is happening. Anyone have experience with this or have thoughts?

Update:

Not sure what you mean by trolling.

The teachers haven't been able to help, we even paid for an independent teacher to review/help her and that didn't work either.

The independent teach said she is fine and wont have a problem on her next test but the next test was the same. She keeps getting minor things wrong.

Trolling is when you're just asking a question to make everybody else feel bad, like when people who get 2300 on the SAT ask how they can get a 2400 when they're still in the top 0.5% of the nation with a 2300.

I know that when I made the jump into high school, it wasn't hard because it was a different atmosphere, but because Geometry Honors was the bane of my life. I'm very good at algebra (straight A's in that kind of math), I can do really fast calculations in my head, but geometry to me was a completely different style of thinking about math, sort of like the difference between scientists and philosophers. So it could be that if this is a different type of math than she's used to that she has to change the way she approaches problems. I can't really tell you or her how to do that; it's not like there's some formula, but know that if she keeps working at it and is willing to ask for help when it's needed, then it will click.

If your not trolling then ask the teacher for help, they will know what the student needs help with and can work with them before or after school.
