opinions on the name jeffrey...?

Jeffrey is nice, FOR A BOY!

Jeffrey isn't even unisex! It's a boys name! If you name your daughter Jeffery, what will people caller Jeff?Jeffy? Ree, is the only good nick-name that could come out of it! It just should not be used on a little girl! She will get teased for having a boys name! It's not like it's one that could go either way, like Taylor, Ryan, Sydney, or even Mason or Drew, Jeffrey is strictly a boys name!

Victoria on the other hand is lovely! I love that name! Why don't you use that as the first name and then if you really want to use Jeffrey, make that the middle name. That way she will at least have a female name to go by! : )

I don't know any 'good' Jeffreys.. My ex's name is Jeffrey. To be completely honest, he was abusive in every way possible. I'm extremely lucky that I left when I did. Obviously, I have an extremely bad connotation with the name which would be exactly why I hate it.

And then I read 'on a girl' and laughed.

Jeffrey is a great name for a boy. I don't care for it on a girl. I do love Victoria though.
