How do you do water fasting? Please help?

How do you do it?

How long should you do it for?

How much weight will be lost after fasting?

I'm desperate to lose a lot of weight and I heard about water fasting but I don't completely understand how to go about it.

Do you just drink water all day?

When you start eating do you gain more weight?

Can the answers be detailed or is there any websites that I can find the info.

You can lose lots of weight by not eating. The body goes into starvation mode.

First you empty your entire digestive system. Then your body converts all the glycogen(stored energy) available in the liver and muscles. Plus the water weight associated to the sodium in your system. Depending on your size this can total 10 to 20 pounds.

You have not lost an ounce of stored body fat and are now suffering from malnutrition.

So yes you can lose weight but you won't achieve the "shape" change you are looking for.
