Is it "a song is playing IN my computer", "a song is playing ON my computer", or "FROM my computer"?

I don't know about the FORMAL answer, but in everyday usage we say "A show is playing ON TV. A song is playing ON the radio. Do you like the CD playing on my CD player right now? Things are designated as being ON the computer, like "Look at these pics on my computer."
Anything originating from the computer, as far as I have ever heard, is designated as being ON the computer.
You might say "A weird sound is comming FROM my computer." Or "I have the files IN my computer." But if it's media entertainment it's on the computer. If it is a file stored IN the computer then I guess you could say IN. But if it's the internet it is for sure ON the computer, on the screen, on the internet.

One plays a song ON a piano, and On a CD player. It stands to reason that a song stored on your computer would also be played ON your computer.
