Christians, how is this right in any sense?

That's why I no longer am a christian, Jesus died for us because he loved us but the bible says not to love anyone more than God.

I use to believe in the bible full heartedly. But after my moms death I took a step back and am now quite an athiest and take the bible for what it is which is one of 2 things. A fairy tale all together or a fairy tale written by a very smart mofo as a means of control reason etc etc. ya know because If people realized there was nothing more to life after death they might not play the dumb games and jump through the loops society puts out there. There would be no order without the bible because what would be the point? We are really working for the rich. We work all our lives just to make a living 8 hours a day 40 hours a week. All that time away from our families time away from doing things that actually interest us. So yeah I think the bible is pathetic and anyone who quotes or references it is just as pathetic. How could you even imagine that those you loved will rot in a fire and in torment for eternity. That isn't logical or ethical, the "god" of christianity is no greater than hitler. I'm angered by this. But ignorance is bliss.

Are one of your family members handing eternal life to you??/ i didnt think so--- the teachings of one going to heaven or hell as an end is a false teaching by false religions--Jesus clearly said--Happy are the meek, for they will i nherit the earth--- those religions know their teaching is false--they do not care that they throw the son of Gods truth in the garbage.

I do not believe in the burning hell! Though if it did exist, i would chose the destruction of my soul over the torture of loved ones who had doubts! Still i believe God is not that cruel.

God is our Creator, and we each have our own will to decide how to live. That some choose not to seek and follow God, we can't blame God for. I see our spiritual path as a Christian is to become love, humility, peace, obedience in our life here so we can be God's holy servants forever. We will be comforted by God through this process whatever happens. In heaven, I think a lot of this world will disappear from our minds and we will enjoy the peace and love of heaven without sin, sickness, and death.

Most important in life is to know and follow God as a Christian so you can get God's guidance, help, and get to heaven forever after you die someday, if you live a good, God-honoring life. If you live a life without God, then you go to hell -- a bad place of suffering forever, when you die. God is our spiritual Father, life, love, all-powerful, eternal, holy, all-knowing. Praying the prayer below will make you a Christian. Then, live it out with faith and love for God and Jesus Christ, love others, Bible study, prayer, and church. It's about having a relationship with God.

This is how to know God -- the basic Christian message and prayer --- you need to accept God's Son, Jesus Christ, into your life to be a Christian and follow God's ways so you can receive God's guidance in your life and get to heaven after you die. Knowing God can transform your life. When you know God, then pray about your life, God can help you live a better life. Ways to stay connected to God's path include loving God and Jesus Christ, obeying God's ways, daily Bible reading, daily prayer for yourself and others, getting to church, having your church prayer group and/or pastor pray for you, fasting with prayer for a higher level of prayer, getting with other Christians and doing a Bible study, singing hymns to God, taking communion with the church, helping and loving others, expressing your gratitude to God for His help in your life by telling others of your progress and helping them draw closer to God too, tithing, volunteering at church.
