can i play modern warfare 2 online if is a downloaded version?

I have bought only one game off of the Xbox live marketplace, Call of Duty 4, and all features were accessible including online game play. But if the game is 22 bucks cheaper in-store, I would run on over to Gamestop and pick it up. That way you can save your money for map packs. :)

No don't download it, buy it for at a store for a lot cheaper. It the game isn't worth 40 dollars, especially not the online, unless you prefer to be killed by explosives and aircrafts every 10 seconds.

you can play online if it's the downloaded version but i would just buy the disc at gamestop like your friend said you save money and if you don't like it you can always return it for store credit

I suppose you could, i mean, why not? But if your still unsure just buy it. I mean, cheaper is better.
