Will My Son have to see his Father?
Ok we live in MD..i need some help times getting hard so Im thinking about asking for child support,but my 14 year old son doesn't want to see his father..Isn't he old enough to tell the Judge why he doesn't want to see his father...I don't believe in forcing a child to do anything that makes them uncomfortable
my son's father kidnapped him when he was 5 years old..it took me 3 months to get him back..after that the father threaten me cause i took my son back..yes got the protection order...two years after i pushed my fears aside so my son could see his father..his father made promises to our son but never kept (like seeing him,gifts,) a year later his father and wife got preggo i sent them a gift from my son they sent it back,his father and wife had the baby i let my son call to congrat them then they rush him off the phone every time he called..no call no nothing after that. here it is 7 years...kids arent stupid and i dont bad mouth his father cause his actions speak louder than words...i havent and wont lie to my son about anything
look group for dad's.. shut the f*ck up..u dont scare me..and my son does have rights u jack a$$..(everybody has rights even a unborn child) i talked to my lawyer yesterday about the issue...and for ur info we did have a court order when he kidnapped him...so go scare a mother that really likes making her kid(s) father life a living hell.... i dont have time for the BS...

He would go in front of the judge and tell him why and then it would be decided. Child support and visitation are totally different issues. I know know personal experience.

If you expect the father to help support your son, then the father has a right to see his son, if he wishes. Why does he not want to see his father? At 14, if he is old enough to tell the judge, then he is old enough to face his father, and say to his face why he does not want to see him.

No he isn't. However, you are old enough to be sue for parental alienation. As for the kidnapping charge, that is often claimed when in reality there was no custody orders when the father took the child.
