Do you like to face the facts of your life, or hide behind a mask of false happiness and drugs?

Uh-oh. somebody's girlfriend had sex with another man... And she wants to work it out.

Eventually I want to man up. Life was a lot simpler and happier when I didn't have responsibility or knowledge of what the world I was actually living in. It was like a slap in the face every time I discovered a hurtful truth, but in the end I felt much more relieved and a lot more mature.

Still ignorance is bliss.

As much as reality sucks, I like to face the facts of my life and go into a downward spiral... or upward, and do drugs. I don't like to fake happiness unless it's going to cost me my job.

To be honest... I like the fake reality more. Reality in this world is crap. Boring with a bunch of idiots. That's what makes the internet and entire different place.

Life is pretty grim and gritty at times without any chemical adjustment. As long as you are aware the good feelings created by your pharmaceutical holiday are temporary and illusory what does it matter?

Furthermore, conversely, what merit is there in such a sackcloth-and-ashes existence?

There's no such thing as false happiness. Youre either happy or youre not.

And just because you take drugs doesnt mean you dont face the facts. The two are not mutually exclusive.
