I like the spelling Aubree because by looking at it you'll be able to pronounce it easily. But a factor may be that Chelsea from Teen Mom 2 spells her daughter's name like that. But I don't see that as a huge problem.

Aubrey is a BOYS name and has been for a very long time. It is also overused like Sophia, you hear this name everywhere. But if you are going to use it at least spell it Ruhr Aubrey. Not Aubree or Aubrie.

I always want to pronounce Aubree like Au-BREE with the Bree part emphasized, so I like Aubrey better
