how do i tell my parents im having sex?
So I have been having sex since october and i think my mom knows but she's afraid to ask me cause she doesn't want me to make it official.
Im 19 (yeah i know this is sad that i m still afraid to tell them)
but i don't want them to freak cuz he's a little bit older than me, plus we're not really dating either. He and I are doing the FWB thing cause neither of us really want to get into a serious(emotional) relationship
My family is what you may say "old school" and they'd might not understand or agree with us.
Anyways Im totally freaked out of the possibility of me getting KU so i really want to get on birth control. I've already tried to go to the doctors but they said i need to see a gyno. I cant drive and im under there insurance so they're going to find out
I want to tell them really bad cause I want to get the birth control but im afraid they might not let me see him anymore or they may do something to him.
How should i tell them without having a huge blow up?

@ Bri - it's not sad that she waited until 19. That's the good part. The sad part is that she chose to lose it in a "friends with benefits" relationship. Not even a special guy!
1. If you are not mature enough to be saying "pregnant" instead of referring to it as KU or knocked up, you're not mature enough to be having sex
2. If you're not mature enough to talk to your parents about sex at NINETEEN, you're not mature enough to be having sex.
3. If you can't understand that at nineteen you're an adult and no longer need parental permission to get birth control... (you see where I'm going with this?)
4. If you've been having sex WITHOUT birth control for THREE MONTHS and only NOW are you worrying about it...you're definitely not mature enough.

How is it sad that you've starting having sex at 19.
You don't have to tell them at all. If you want it private keep it that way. You are an adult. Get on birth control by yourself and nothing to worry about.
