1996 Honda accord EX doors compatible with 97 accord LX?

The side of my 1997 accord lx got hit by another driver, and I am looking to replace the doors. I found a parts car that is the same color but is one year older and the model is EX. Would they be compatible?

Call a local junk yard and ask. They have parts interchange info manuals that I can't even buy and I'm a licensed mechanic. But they always tell me when I call them with a question like that. They are the same generation so they should work. But you can't put a two door on a four door on any car make. EX & LX denote the trim/option packages and use the same bodys.

Yes. The only difference would be that the EX model probably has more luxury options. Yours may not have power windows for example, and the EX would. I don't believe that there is even a difference in that, however.

The simple answer is yes, you can definitely bolt those doors on your car.
