Its not Yahoo who deletes answers, its other users.

When you get into those social categories, politics, religion, and the society/culture -- people will delete your answers just to silence your opinion.

Its not at all right, or even within the guidelines, but they do it anyway. Makes you wonder what kind of a world they would prefer. You can appeal the violation and have the answer re-instated.

Yahoo doesnt much get involved with Y!A until the appeal process. Its a community moderated forum.

Its flawed but Yahoo stated there's over a billion questions on here, and it would take a large amt of people for them to audit every post. They probably would just remove the site, rather than hire several hundred people to read all posts.

Questions post sometimes several a second..from all over the world. Its a huge site, but it looks very simple.

Without seeing the actually wording it is impossible to say.Ask your question again and copy and paste the question from the violation notice. If we can all see the words we know exactly what you have said and what was wrong

Often it is just the way you use the wording.

Yahoo will not answer you, it is us who help you on this one.

Your question will have been reported by one or more users who saw it as a violation.
