I agree, that's major overkill for games like WoW and Rift.
These lower-cost computers can run WoW flawlessly... However the advertised prices are hardware only, add £70 for Windows 7 installed (see bottom of the page). You'd still save money compared to that first one ;)

Even this can handle WoW... it's slightly less powerful for gaming than the units listed above (it has a better CPU but weaker graphics card). However, the price includes Windows 7.

The price difference is so small, I'd probably go with the first unit (Core i3 & Radeon HD 6770)
*** Update ***
Fahad's listed configuration is terrible.. in games, fps depends mostly upon your graphics card, not your processor. The Core i7 2600K is expensive overkill for a gaming rig, while the Radeon HD 5450 is a low-end model for everyday work, it's too slow for gaming.

it's an overpowered over priced PC for playing wow.
Wow doesn't need a very powerful pc to run.
Any PC nowdays new should run it.
Just get at least an Intel Dual Core processor, 2GB Ram. And a Graphics card ( even built in ) that has 128MB Memory.
You honestly don't need a high spec PC to run WOW. However if you do wish to play higher spec games too, you may need a faster pc. I have an entry level Acer i3 laptop I play WOW on and it runs it perfectly. I only paid 350GBP for it.
I personally not go for the AMD processor, go for intel, it doesn't overheat, it's quality, and you are guarenteeed happiness.

Lol.. with this you can definitely play WoW with its BEST graphic options enabled. It's also pretty good for its price, go for it!
However, if it's ONLY for WoW, you may find a PC that costs around 400-500$ and it'll run perfectly. But I don't recommend you to go lower because in the future, new games coming out need more and more powerful hardware, then you'll need to buy another computer for them, so why not just buy a good one that ensures an amazing gaming experience for at least 5 years.
